Washington Street Kitchen - Completed 2026

The clients loved their home but their kitchen was a constant frustration - awkward and inadequate storage, a cramped dining nook, and underlit. The existing footprint was maintained with the appliance layout modified slightly, and the previously drab and dark space brightened with recessed lighting and undercabinet lighting, not to mention the vibrant green color of the kitchen cabinets, the handcrafted Pratt & Larson accent tile, and warmth of the brass fixtures. By increasing the efficiency of the storage we could shrink down the cabinet footprint and create a roomier dining nook. We partnered up with a local woodworker and wood reclaimation company to create the walnut slab table - the cherry on top of this design.
